Uncle Ho's Temple

Uncle Ho’s Temple stands atop King Peak, the highest point of the Ba Vi Mountain Range. Reaching the temple is a challenging yet rewarding journey—visitors must travel over 12 kilometers of winding mountain roads before climbing more than 1,320 stone steps carved along the cliffs.
Upon arrival, many visitors feel as though they’ve stepped into a mystical world. The path winds through ancient forests where towering trees, moss-covered trunks, and hanging vines create a serene, almost otherworldly atmosphere. Even on sunny days, the mountain is often shrouded in a soft veil of mist.
Each year, on the 21st day of the seventh lunar month, leaders and local residents gather here to commemorate Uncle Ho’s death anniversary with a solemn ceremony rooted in national tradition.

Bao Thien Tower

Bao Thien Tower stands within the complex of Uncle Ho’s Temple, atop King Peak of Ba Vi Mountain. Completed in 2010 to commemorate the 1000th anniversary of Thang Long – Hanoi, the tower rises 13 stories high, reaching a height of approximately 26.9 meters.
The structure is made of bronze, crowned with a large gourd-shaped finial at its peak. Surrounding the tower are 88 statues of varying sizes, along with eight Kim Cuong (Diamond) guardians positioned to face the eight cardinal directions, symbolizing protection and balance.

Thuong Temple

According to legend, during the feudal era, the construction of the Upper Temple required the mobilization of a large number of laborers from both sides of the Da River. People worked together to carry materials from the river up to the summit of Tan Mountain to build the sacred temple.
The Upper Temple is dedicated to Tan Vien (Son Tinh) – the Mountain God – and is situated in a location that offers breathtaking panoramic views. From here, visitors can admire the vast natural landscape and breathe in the pure, refreshing air of the mountains and forests.
